The North Baltimore High School Boy’s will be advancing to the OHSAA, D – IV District Finals on Friday night at Liberty-Benton.
The Tigers took care of business against another former Midland Athletic League foe Mohawk, 57 – 37 in the District Semi-final at L-B Wednesday evening.
NB will now face BVC foe Arlington in the finals. The Red Devils beat #1 seed Old Fort Wednesday night.
The Tiger defense totally rattled Mohawk, never allowing them into their offensive rhythm, as NB held the lead after the first quarter 13 – 5 and then 21 – 13 at the half. NB continued their domination in the 3rd quarter building a 41 – 24 lead, before sealing the deal by 20 points.
Chase Naugle led the Tigers with 17 points, including 11 of 14 free throws, 6 rebounds, 5 steals and 4 assists. Levi Gazarek hit 16 points with 6 rebounds. Julian Hagemyer scored 13 points, Noah Brian 6 points and 4 assists. Adam Flores and Noah Cotterman each scored 2 points. Brady Rader added one point.
Coach Kloepher thanks all the fans that came out in support of the Tigers tonight and said, “We need all of our fans at Liberty-Benton Friday night at 7:00 for the finals against Arlington!”
