North Baltimore Boys Basketball picked up a coveted BVC road win last night, hanging on to beat Hopewell – Loudon in Bascom.
The Tigers built a halftime lead of 25 – 20, and then hung on in the third quarter, battling the Chieftans (4-7, 3-4 BVC) for control of the game, still holding the 5 point lead. But in the 4th H – L fought back themselves back into the game, but fell a basket short, 46 – 44.
North Baltimore at 6-6, 3-3 BVC was let by NB’s 6′ 7″ junior, Chad Wright, who blocked 10 shots and hit for 17 points and 6 rebounds.
Sean Watson had 4 points, 4 steals and 7 assists; Levi Newcomer hit for 8 points; Lane Bishop had 7 points; Derek McMahon hit for 5 points inside, Noah Brian hit a 3, Jacob Pelton scored 2 points.
