North Baltimore High School Cross Country competed in the Blanchard Valley Conference Race at Owens Community College.

The Varsity boys started the meet with a phenomenal performance. The top five boy finishers had career bests, led by Levi Trout’s 17:53 finishing 8th and just missing 1st team BVC by 8 hundredths.
Wyatt Mowery finished 14th, with an 18:32, joining 2nd team BVC honors along with Trout. Senior Zion Cook finished in 24th with 19:23, a career record by 49 seconds.
Sophomores Gabe Gazarek (32nd) with a 20:11 and Jordan Kimmel (35th) with a 20:41 finished in a big way to help the boys finish 3rd overall in the championships upsetting friendly rivals McComb and Van Buren.
Also competing well for the boys were Jaiden Baldwin (51st) with a 22:09, Darrian Zitzelberger (54th) with a 22:42, and Alex Trout (64th) with a 26:30.
Rachel Crouse (20th) and Lucy Trout (41st) both finished the day by tying their personal bests with a 24:11 and 27:57 respectively. Caitlin Schwartz finished in 21st with a 24:30 as the girls finished 5th overall.
In the combined Junior High race, Alivia Delancy was a JH medalist finishing in 10th place just a few seconds off her personal best with a 14:41. 8th grader, Jordan Coup was the top JH boys finisher with a career best of 15:53, Zach Livingston finished the day with a solid time of 16:35.
