Story by JP Miklovic

Friday, October 16, the North Baltimore High School Tiger Football team traveled to Pandora-Gilboa for a Blanchard Valley Conference game with the Rockets.

The Rockets took a tough, hard fought lead of 13 – 7 into half-time. But they blew the game open by returning the 2nd half kick-off 82 yards for a score (with 2-point conversion) to take the lead 21 – 7. P – G shut down the Tigers, out scoring the visitors 21 – 0 for the entire 3rd and most of the 4th quarters.

NB tried to make a game of it late in the 4th, scoring on a Brady Rader to Adam Flores TD pass from 8 yards out (Brian kick good), to close the gap to 27 – 14 with around four minutes to play. But the (3-5 overall, 2-2 BVC Valley Division) Rockets would put the game away with a 68 yard TD bomb (2 point conversion good) winning 37 – 14.

NB’s other score was a Rader to Sean Watson seven yard strike (Brian kick good).

Offensively for the Tigers, Taylor Bishop carried the ball 19 times fro 47 yards; Rader was 19 of 38 for 204 yards, with two interceptions, and the two scores. Watson had 6 catches for 78 yards and Flores 2 catches for 16 yards.
