The North Baltimore High School team traveled to Cory-Rawson H. S. for a BVC League football game Friday night. It was a slugfest between the Hornets and the Tigers.
Cory-Rawson (2-4, 2-2 BVC) hangs on for the win 40 – 39, as NB falls to 1-5, 1-3 BVC).
NB junior quarterback Levi Gazarek completed 18 of 29 passes for 403 yards. He ran the ball 15 times for 126 yards. He completed 2 TD passes and had a 1-yard TD run.
Clayton Heineman had 4 TD’s, including a 2 yard TD run and he returned a kickoff 78 yards for a score. He has 2 TD catches from Gazarek of 49 and 51 yards (both in the 1st quarter).
Zach Weinandy had 9 catches for 133 yards including a 31 yard TD pass. Heineman had 4 catches for 137 yards.
Next up for the Tigers is Homecoming next Friday at NB’s War Memorial Field vs. Riverdale in a BVC game. Homecoming details and activities start tomorrow!
