Tiger Football Wins at Arcadia

North Baltimore Football traveled to Arcadia (0-7, 0-9) last Friday for a Blanchard Valley Football game with the Red Skins.

The Tigers scored early and often in a 60 – 27 win, improving to 3-4, 4-5 on the season.┬áNB amassed 515 total yards, while totaling shutting down Arcadia’s passing game – no completions/no yards.

Brady Rader threw four touchdown passes in the first quarter – 3 yards to David Patterson, 76 yards to Chase Naugle, 28 yards and 34 yards to Noah Brian , to open a 26 – 7 lead. Rader would hit Naugle for another TD, from 7 yards, in the 2nd quarter. NB led 33 – 7 at the half.

Arcadia came out in the 3rd quarter wanting to make it a game, scoring twice on long runs (99 and 73 yards), cutting the lead to 33 – 21. But NB’s passing game was too much, as Rader hit Patterson from 24 yards for a score and Adam Flores on a 38 yard TD pass, to put the game away.

NB would add to scores in the 4th, with Rader hitting Brian from 9 yards and Kole Wymer added a long rushing TD of 67 yards.

Taylor Bishop returned from a weeks long injury to carry the ball 16 times, for 31 yards. Kole Wymer had 2 carries for 57 yards (according to the submitted stats).

Rader hit 24 of 35 passes for 397 yards, with the 8 TD’s. He threw one interception. David Patterson finished the game with 9 catches for 88 yards and the two scores. Chase Naugle had 5 catches for 112 yards and two scores. Noah Brian had 76 yards in 4 receptions and the 3 scores, and he was 6 for 8 on extra point kicks.

It’s hard to believe that the high school football regular season is wrapping up next week, with Vanlue at HOME for Parent’s Night, in a BVC game, 7:00 kick-off.
