Tiger Girls Junior High Hoopsters beat Leipsic

The North Baltimore Junior High Basketball 8th grade girls remain undefeated after a tough win against Leipsic advancing to 6-0. The 7th grade also picking up their 4th win of the season.

North Baltimore at Leipsic

NB 8th grade girls remain undefeated after they came from behind to win against Leipsic who was coming into this game with a 4-2 record.

NB never led in this game until around 1:00 left in the game.  At the half, Leipsic was ahead 22 to 17, but then Leipsic increased the lead by 11 later in the 2nd half.  At the end of the 3rd qtr, the score was Leipsic 32, NB 24, but then NB had a huge 4th qtr outscoring Leipsic 15 to 4, and NB walked away with the 39 to 36 win.

Alivia Light came on strong in the 4th qtr drilling three 3-pointers and finished with 17 points.  Jasmine McNett made 2 important free throws within the last few seconds of the game to make NB’s lead 3.  8th grade girls advance to 6-0 overall and in the BVC.
