On Friday, May 15, the North Baltimore High School Tiger Track team competed for the first time in the Blanchard Valley Conference Meet. Many athletes posted season and career bests.
The teams were led by second place finishes from Nathan Flores in the 1600 meters and Megan Ernsberger in the 100 hurdles.
Jacob Dick placed third in the shot and Kenzie Carles and Mariah Leonard tied for third in the pole vault. Jacob Dick also placed fourth in the disc.
The boys 4×400 relay of Flores, AJ Hotaling, Christian Richmond and Tyler Stimmel finished in fifth place. Also finishing in fifth were Ernsberger in the 300 hurdles and Lindsay Davis in the high jump.
Stimmel (400 meters), Flores (800 meters), Gage Carles (PV), and Kiah Powell (shot) finished in sixth place. Finishing in seventh were Richmond in the 200 and Ernsberger in the long jump.
The boys 4×200 relay of Josh Rockhill, Cody Gerdeman, Taylor Bishop, and Jacob Pelton and the girls 4×800 relay of Katie Leady, Courtney Smith, Hanna Rose, and Lisa Rennau finished in 8th place.
