The North Baltimore High School Boys hosted McComb Friday night in a Blanchard Valley Conference game, picking up the easy win 65 – 29, moving to 2 – 0 in the BVC.
Tyler Durfey led NB in scoring hitting 17 of his game high 20 points in the first half, as the Tigers jumped out to a 46 – 16 lead at the intermission.
Levi Gazarek (3 or 4 blocks) and Julian Hagemyer (7 rebounds) each hit nine points and Noah Cotterman hit 8 points, Adam Flores 7 points, Brady Rader 5 points, Cam Williams 3 points, Chase Naugle 2 points, with Alex Snyder and Clayton Heineman hitting one each.
NB improves to 4 – 1, 2 – 0, while the Panthers drop to 2 – 4, 1 – 2 BVC.
McComb won a tight and exciting Junior Varsity gameĀ 37-33.
Next up for the Tigers is New Reigel in The Jungle, for a non-league game, next Saturday, Dec. 30, JV tip-off at 6:00.
