The North Baltimore High School Tiger Football team traveled to Vanlue for the final game of the 2015 season, needing a win, following a rough BVC campaign (0 – 4 in Valley Division play) .
The Tigers scored two touchdowns in just two minutes time at the end of the first quarter, to take a 15 – 0 lead. Brady Rader hit Chase Naugle for the first score from 11 yards out (Brian 2 point run). Taylor Bishop ran in from 15 yards (Brian kick).
Vanlue would make their only score of the game at the 8:37 mark in the 2nd, to pull to make the score 15 – 6. But that was all she wrote for the Wildcats, as the Tigers scored three TD’s to finish off the first half, going into the break, Tigers leading 36 – 6.
The scoring plays were a Rader to David Patterson pass from 45 yards; a Rader 15 yard TD pass to Noah Brian; and, Adam Flores returned an Interception 60 yards for a touchdown. Noah Brian hit all three PAT kicks.
The final score of the game for the Tigers came at the start of the second half, as Brody Naugle carried the pigskin in for the touchdown from two yards out, Brian missed the kick and the Tigers win it 42 – 6.
The Tigers finished with 355 total yards, 201 rushing and 154 passing.
Taylor Bishop had 12 carries for 124 yards, to lead NB’s rushing attack. Andrew Hollinger carried 6 times for 37 yards and Broderick Naugle had that awesome two yard touchdown run, his only carry.
Rader hit 9 of 16 attempts for 154 yards and 3 scores. Noah Brian had 3 catches to lead NB with 58 yards. Sean Watson also had 3 catches for 37 yards.
NB finishes BVC Valley Division play 1 – 4, with a 5 – 5 overall record.
