UPDATE 9/9 – regarding the Ayresville player transported by NB EMS Friday night. According to Ferg, who contacted Ayresville A. D. and Assistant Coach Rob Luderman (and former NB teacher/A. D./coach): Jakob Trevino (#5) the Ayersville Quarterback had a CT scan and was released from hospital shortly after midnite on “Friday”. He was also sore and bruised according to other reports.
The North Baltimore High School Tiger Football team evened their season record at 1 – 1.
The Tigers got back on the winning track Friday with a non-league win over Ayersville 33 – 26.
It was a hard fought game on a beautiful football Friday at NB’s War Memorial Field. NB took the lead early, then ensued a back and forth battle that lasted until nearly 10:00pm. With a major stop in play for the Ayersville QB who was injured on a very hard hit early in the 4th quarter (no update on the injury, which required EMS transport from the field).
Also, it was Military/National Guard Game of the Week with the Tigers wearing camo jersies provided by the guard.
