Re: SET-UP SCHEDULE: GOOD OLE SUMMERTIME FESTIVAL (GOST)

The Good Ole Summertime Festival is set for ‘THE LAST SATURDAY IN JULY”- July 25th.

Set-up for the festival will begin Friday, July 24, at approximately Noon, depending on the vendor or event. At that time, streets, alleys and certain other areas will begin to be closed off to “thru traffic”.

Friday evening, Food vendors will begin setting up on North Main Street – from Broadway to the alley by the Historical Center. North Main Street to Walnut will be closed as needed.

The Beer Tent will be set up on East Broadway from the East Alley to Main Street. The scheduled time is approximately Noon or after. Access to the Post Office will be maintained until 5:00.

The 5K Run will set up on West Broadway north of the Huntington Bank, Friday evening. Time varies.

At 6:00, Flea Market vendors will begin set-up on North Main Street from Broadway south to the tracks.

At Noon, Friday –  Rides will begin set-up on South Main from The 4–way (State St) to Water Street.

On Saturday a Military Vehicle Display will be in the Food Center Parking Lot (NW corner State and Main). West State will be closed from The 4 –way to the West Alley. They will set-up Saturday morning. This space may be used for overflow vendors and displays.

The North Baltimore Area Chamber of Commerce would like to provide you with this festival set-up schedule and map to help us all avoid as much inconvenience as possible. Friday afternoon festival vendors will be coming into town and some events will begin set-up on Friday evening. We realize there may be some disruption to you, your customers’ and/or your deliveries normal traffic flow. We hope that with this advance notice, we can work together to show North Baltimore in the best possible light.

NBXpress editor, thank you for the posting above! And the updating of it as well!!!

  2. Hope nobody breaks a ankle walking down Main Street Saturday! Street is a embarrassment to the town.To bad we don’t have a levy for street repair, oh wait I think we do.
