Traffic Advisory – Interstate 75
Allen County
Interstate 75 southbound from just south of Beaverdam through the Ohio 696/U.S. 30 interchange will be restricted to one lane through the work zone while crews grind the pavement to add texture for traction. The restriction will occur generally from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol will assist in traffic control. All ramps at the interchange will remain open during the operation. Work is being performed by the ODOT Allen County maintenance garage.
I-75 northbound one lane on Wednesday and Thursday, exit ramp to Ohio 65 to close
Interstate 75
- Interstate 75 northbound from just north of McClain Road to the railroad bridge which is just north (east) of Ohio 65 will be restricted to one lane on Wednesday and Thursday during pouring of concrete for the new Ohio 65 and railroad bridge structures.
- The work is occurring in the contraflow area of the I-75 reconstruction project, located generally north and south of the Ohio 65 interchange area, where two southbound lanes and one northbound lane of traffic are traveling on the southbound side of the interstate, and one northbound lane is traveling on the northbound side of the interstate.
- The work will close the single, northbound lane which will require the closure of the exit ramp from Interstate 75 northbound to Ohio 65.
- During the closure, traffic will be detoured to Fourth Street to Interstate 75 southbound back to Ohio 65.
- The lane restriction and ramp closure will be in place from approximately 8 a.m. to noon each day.
- The entrance ramp from Ohio 65 to Interstate 75 northbound remains closed.
