BOWLING GREEN (Monday, November 23, 2015) – The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District Two announces the following update to the US 6 pavement reconstruction and bridge work project in Wood County. Updates are highlighted in bold and underlined:
U.S. Route 6: Pavement Reconstruction and Bridge Work
Wood County (170-14): Effective Tuesday, November 24 from 9pm, until Wednesday, November 25 at 5am, US 6 at I-75, will be closed for bridge deck removal. Westbound US 6 detour: northbound I-75; SR 64 (Exit 181); southbound I-75. Eastbound US 6 detour: southbound I-75; Cygnet Road (Exit 171); northbound I-75. An additional overnight closure will be announced.
Through June 2016, the ramp from southbound I-75 to eastbound US 6 is closed. Detour: westbound US 6; SR 25. Through June 2016, US 6, between SR 25 and Dunbridge Road, is reduced to one lane in each direction. Lane widths are restricted to 11ft in this work zone. Work complete: June 2016. All work is weather permitting.
