Unique ‘n’ Tiques at the corner of South Main and State Street, at the 4 – way in Downtown North Baltimore, is the original “shop” to put up a shingle in NB, “selling Junk.” But Jody Stone and her exhibitors/vendors have stood the test of time, buying and selling what area people “can’t live with or without.”
Unique ‘n’ Tiques is the anchor for a little row of shops on South Main in NB, that includes CyberSolutions Computer Store and Dawn’s Flower Shop.
Jody invites you in for a visit this week, as they are getting ready for Christmas AND having a 50/50 Raffle to help out a fellow downtown business, The Virginia Theater Digital Upgrade.
Thursday, Friday and Saturday Unique ‘n’ Tiques is open 10 am – 6 pm, with Drawings and Door Prizes and Specials and Deals and Bargains.
On Saturday only – there will be FREE LUNCH and a Licensed Appraiser will be on hand to do FREE appraisals of YOUR “junk”!!!
The 50/50 Raffle, tickets are $1 each of 6 for $5. The drawing will be on Saturday, Nov. 29, with the proceeds to help with the installation expenses and plaque/seat tag purchases for the Virginia Theater Digital Upgrade. Jody is proud to have supported the effort with a $500 Lobby Plaque donation and wants to help out with one final push, the 50/50 drawing – so stop in for your tickets today!

I’ve never been into Unique N Tiques before. What kind of “junk” do they accept and appraise? Anything? Clothes too? Large furniture?
They take all sorts of stuff, but they are actually pretty selective. I would have to say that most of their “junk” is really NOT “junk” at all! All of the shops in NB try to deal in quality items, at a fair price. I know they all have plenty of traffic, all sorts of out-of-towners wander through from time to time! You definitely can find plenty of vintage and antique type stuff at Unique ‘n’ Tiques. As far as clothes, it seems they only take/sell the classic and vintage stuff that is in nice shape. They build some pretty nice displays (for sale) with much of the stuff. SB, you need to stop in there, the next couple of days and check it out for yourself!
