Church news for Sunday, November 23, 2014
Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist will celebrate “Christ the King” Sunday on November 23, with worship beginning at 10:15 am. Rev. Susan Kronbach will preach “Who is this Jesus?” from Matthew 7:21-28. Sunday School for youth and adults is held at 9:15 am; Sunday School for children is held during worship after the children’s moments. Please plan to join us!
Other activities at the church this week include choir practice each Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm (with cantata practice immediately following at 7:45); Women of Faith on Thursday, and Nov. 20 at 9:00 am at the Iron Skillet Restaurant.
Please also make plans to join us for the Community Thanksgiving Service at Holy Family Catholic Church on Sunday, Nov. 23 at 7:00 pm. This service is sponsored by the North Baltimore Area Cooperative Ministry, and an offering of peanut butter (or cash) will be received for our Christmas box ministry.
