On Wednesday November 11th Third Grade students learned all about Veterans. They got to invite a Veteran to eat lunch with them.Then after lunch students had Veteran Bill Shafer speak to them about Veterans and his experience in the Korean War.
Bill served two years in the Korean War, graduated from North Baltimore High School, went to college and then became a teacher, principal, and is now a Pro Golfer.
Students thanked Mr. Shafer for his service by making him a card.
Third Graders would like to thank all Veterans who make our country great.
