Special COUNCIL MEETING
November 13, 2018
MINUTES
I. Pledge of Allegiance
Council President Art Patterson called the meeting to order at 7:40PM and led the Pledge of Allegiance.
II. Roll Call:
Mayor Janet Goldner-Absent, Matt Beegle-Here, Ty Carles- Here, Tim Engard -Here, Aaron Patterson-Here, Art Patterson- Here, Leisa Zeigler-Here, Student Representative- Zoey Beaupry-Absent, Clerk Kathi Bucher- Here, Legal Counsel-Joel Kuhlman-Absent
Mr. Carles made a motion to excuse Madam Mayor Goldner. Second by Mr. Beegle. All approved.
Mr. Carles made a motion to appoint Leisa Zeigler as President Pro Tem. Second by Mr. Beegle. All approved except Mr. Aaron Patterson who voted no. Passed.
III. New Legislation, Resolutions, Motions or Business
Proposed motion- To award the tree bid contract to Oberlander at a cost of $12,000.00.
Ms. Zeigler made a motion to award to Oberlander in the amount, not to exceed $12,000.00. Second by Mr. Carles. Motion passed.
Discussion on why the money is coming from PU.
Proposed motion- To transfer funds from the utilities account to the Tree Commission for the removal of hazardous trees encroaching on village water lines.
No action taken as the full sum comes from the tree commission budget.
