I. Pledge of Allegiance
Mayor Goldner called the meeting to order at 5:30 PM and led the Pledge of Allegiance.
II. Roll Call:

Motion to add Ordinance 2019-01 to agenda. Mr. Aaron Patterson made the motion.
Second by Mr. Engard All approved.
III. Approval of the Agenda:
Motion by Mr. Aaron Patterson to approve the agenda of tonight’s meeting as
amended. Second by Mr. Carles. All approved.
I. Election of the President of Council
Motion by Mr. Aaron Patterson to have Matt Beegle as president of council. Second by
Mr. Engard. All approved.
II. Assignment of Committees by the mayor
Motion by Mr. Aaron Patterson to accept the committees recommended by the mayor.
Second by Mr. Engard. All approved.
V. Assignment of seating by the mayor
VI. Approval of the mayor’s appointments to commissions and committees as

Mr. Aaron Patterson made a motion to approve Mayor’s appointments to commissions
and committees. Second by Mr. Carles. All approved.
Approval of the Minutes:
Motion by Mr. Carles to approve the minutes of the December 18, 2018 meeting. Second
by Mr. Beegle. All approved.
IV. Public Participation:
Mark Senecal- Mentioned there have been many improvements. Mr. Senecal has a
concern about the handicapped access sidewalks. He mentioned the city of
Maumee’s are excellent. Would like to see ours improved.

suspend the rules, dispense with the second and third readings and declare an
