Good thoughts, BUT if a person needs to get the car out for work, travel or what ever they may not be able to wait to clear their drive at the street.
What Tom may be talking about is poss AFTER he has cleared his driveway, just a possibility. And after the past two years it is also poss piles of snow were to large to put snow elsewhere as well, it does happen. I am sure he has “sucked it up” just like many others have as well.

If the road isn’t cleared then maybe you should wait until it is to clear the end of your driveway. They way it works is everyone gets their fair share of snow in their driveway I do. I don’t know why people think they are entitled to not getting snow from the road in the end of their driveways I don’t see the state plows turning there plows for driveways so the village plows shouldn’t have to either.
Trees are Not removed from my street

It is stated in the article that tree pickup will START January 2nd 2016 through January 10th 2016. Hopefully this will help you see that it hasnt started yet
I won’t blow snow on the streets if the village snow plows don’t plow up against my driveway blocking me in!

Where would u like the village to put the snow because it has to go somewhere? Every driveway in the village gets snow piled at the end of it from the snow coming off the road. I know it would be nice if they had magical powers to just get it off the road and to not put it where someone didn’t want it. Maybe you should come to reality and suck it up and just clear it out of the end of your drive. When you put it back in the road you are creating a road hazard so just throw it in the boulevard.
