Wasylyshyn Named to Exec. Committee

Wood County Sheriff Mark Wasylyshyn announces his appointment to fill the unexpired term of Sheriff Riley (Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office in North Carolina) who retired in December; by National Sheriff’s Association President Layton to the NSA Executive Committee.

The National Sheriff’s Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising the level of professionalism among those in law enforcement. The NSA is a key player in shaping national policy on critical criminal justice issues that are important the nations Sheriff’s and deputies in the halls of Congress, the US Courts and the White House.

Sheriff Wasylyshyn is honored to be appointed to the Executive Committee for the NSA, as he is already a member of the Board of Directors for the association since 2010. “As a longtime member of this great organization, I am excited to be a part of the executive committee which directs the NSA.”
