(Bowling Green)- The Wood County Humane Society (WCHS) is in full swing of the summer season with sunshine, lazy afternoons, fun, and cats! An adoption special is being held currently and runs until August 31st. It consists of a $10.00 adoption fee for cats over the age of 6 months.
Take the time to come out and look at our newly renovated area for our feline friends at 801 Van Camp Road, Bowling Green, Ohio. Pick out a special cat, or two, that are looking for their forever home and take advantage of the special adoption fee.
Adoption hours at the shelter are Wednesday and Thursday from 12 to 7p.m. and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 12 to 4p.m. The adoption special is only valid with an approved application and the adoption must be completed the same day. All of our adoptable pets are fully tested, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, microchipped, and loved.
The WCHS, located in Bowling Green, Ohio, is a private, non-profit managed admission shelter providing care for homeless and abused pets and investigating cruelty complaints in Wood County. The organization receives no funding from government organizations, The United Way, or national humane organizations, instead relying on earned revenue and the generosity of individual donors and businesses to fund our programs such as Safe Haven and food assistance programs, spay/neuter transport, and educational presentations. The WCHS provides care for hundreds of animals each year—from dogs and cars, to horses, goats, and pocket pets. All animals admitted into our adoption program are housed and cared for as long as it takes to find their fur-ever home. For more information on adopting and/or volunteering, see:
