The Wood County Committee on Aging is offering bridge lessons at its Perrysburg Senior Center. Though being offered at the Senior Center, the classes are open to people of all ages.
” Bridge is a great card game to keep one’s mind active and is both challenging and fun. A background of playing card games is beneficial but not required.” said class instructor Bill Ryan.
The classes being offered are at an introductory level. The book being used is Bidding in the 21st Century.
The lessons will be taught by Bill Ryan, a Ruby Life Master with the American Contract Bridge League. He is also the certified director of both the Bowling Green and Perrysburg Bridge Clubs.
The lessons are being given from 2-4 p.m. Tuesdays beginning April 25 and running to June 13.
Reservations are requested by April 17, in order to order the books. The cost is $30 for the course and includes the book.
Call the Perrysburg office at 419-874-0847 with any questions or to reserve your place in the class. No partner is needed to take the class.
