Surveys sent out to Wood County residents last week
Bowling Green, OH – The first wave of surveys for the Wood County Community Health Assessment were sent out to Wood County residents last week, and the Wood County Health Partners request your participation and input should you receive one of these surveys.
The goals of the project are to determine the state of health and well-being in Wood County, identify health needs, develop recommendations to address identified health needs, and to produce a report to serve as a guide to Wood County agencies, organizations, and professionals responsible for protecting and improving health. The result will be a community that will focus on wellness, improve the general health status, increase access to services and address unmet needs. It can influence our current course of action and support new areas of interest within the community. Lend your voice to this project and make a difference by participating in this important Community Health Assessment.
The Wood County Health District provides numerous services to the community, including comprehensive medical services for men, women and children. Our Health and Wellness Center welcomes all patients and accepts most third party insurances, including uninsured or underinsured clients regardless of ability to pay.
