Bowling Green, OH –The Wood County Health District’s 2014 Annual Report is now available for review. With the many transitions, opportunities for growth and positive changes, “these are exciting times for us in Public Health and this report is only a snapshot of all that we do to facilitate opportunities for Wood County residents to lead healthy lives,” said Health Commissioner Ben Batey.
This report includes information on the renovation of the Community Health and Wellness Center, and the expansion of services provided at the Health Center, the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program, Vital Statistics, Environmental Health, Community Nursing Services such as BCMH, Communicable Disease Control, Immunizations, the Personal Care Program, as well as Health Education in schools and in the community, Emergency Preparedness and more! We invite you to read the 2014 annual report and see some of the outstanding public health work our agency accomplished last year.
