Wood County Historical Center Hosts Free Family Program

BOWLING GREEN, OHIO – Take a wintery jaunt to the Log Cabin at the Wood County Historical Center for some early pioneer experiences on Saturday, January 24 from 1:00-4:00 PM. Education Coordinator Michael McMaster will prepare cornbread cooked on an open fire with YOUR freshly-churned butter, hot cocoa, animal furs and story-telling, and kids’ activities – all inside the toasty log cabin on the site of the Historical Center, 13660 County Home Road, Bowling Green. Program is FREE. Dress appropriate for the weather, especially footwear and outerwear. Program may be cancelled if weather is severe.

This program is part of a monthly series of Demo Days sponsored by the Wood County Historical Center & Museum. For details, call the Museum at 419-352-0967 or visit www.woodcountyhistory.org or facebook.com/woodcountyhistory
