International Mud Day Celebration
Saturday, June 25; 10:00 am – noon
Go ahead and get a little muddy – or a lot! There’s plenty of fun for all dirt comfort levels, from hands-only to reveling in the muck. Started in 2009, the day is a festive way for people to get closer to the earth, literally. Enjoy a mud-pie kitchen and obstacle course. Bring a towel and extra clothes. There will be a spray-off station.

Farm Chores: Messing with Mulberries Campfire

Mulberries can make a mess, but what else can you make with them? Learn about the trees, berry uses and mulberry folklore. Finish with a tasty mulberry treat as we socialize around the campfire.

Crochet Rug Workshop Beginners learn everything from how to rip the fabric to crocheting it. Led by Friends’ member Ginny Dean. Bring your own sharp scissors. You’ll take home a crochet hook and extra fabric strips that we provide and the start of your own rug. The two sections are the exact same program. Please only register for one.

Pick up a Passport at any of our upcoming programs. Receive a stamp at each program, collect 10 stamps to earn an awesome water bottle! Volunteer programs count too, so get involved and get out into nature.
