Wood County Park District Offers a variety of Programs for October

Tai Chi

Tuesdays, October 18 and 25; 2:00 – 3:00 pm

Carter Historic Farm

Tai Chi is a slow-moving low-impact aerobic art form that encompasses stretching. The benefits include relaxing the mind as well as the body. This is free, open to the public, does not require registration and is great for all ages and abilities.

Registration is not needed. Arrive anytime to give this eerie archery program a shot! Carve your own pumpkin-target, or use arrows to make a “holey” jack-o’-lantern for a scary good time! Sandhill Cranes Field Trip

Each fall, sandhill cranes gather before heading to their wintering grounds in the southern U.S. Bring your cameras for excellent photographic opportunities.
