Volunteer Naturalist Experience

W.W. Knight Nature Preserve

Explore the parks with naturalist staff to further develop your knowledge and interpretive skills.  Perfect for Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalists wanting to assist with hikes and other nature programs; this program is also open to the public.  In case of inclement weather, an indoor interpretive session will be provided. Leader: Pam Menchaca

Experience 1890s holiday activities in a one-room school, complete with a schoolmaster; then make a depression era holiday treat with the lady of the house at the farm.  Leaders: Pam Menchaca and Craig Spicer


Bird Feeder Make and Take

Come build a pine cone bird feeder to take home and hang in your own yard to attract and feed the birds that stay here over the winter. All materials will be provided for this program.  Leader: Briana Witte
