Wood County, OH: On Monday, December 22 individuals from Wood Lane’s Community Employment Services (CES) celebrated at the CES Recognition Celebration held from 5:30PM-7:30PM at St. Mark’s Church in Bowling Green.
The celebration is an annual event held to recognize individuals with disabilities that have positively impacted the Wood County workforce through community employment. Last year, individuals with disabilities working through Wood Lane’s CES program earned over $1,300,000.00 in taxable wages. Currently, there are over 200 individuals working in Wood County placed through CES.
Jay Salvage, Wood Lane’s Director of Adult Services said, “We really want to congratulate this group. Their success radiates beyond contributing earnings to Wood County’s workforce. These individuals really embrace their roles as community members and accomplish their work with dedication and commitment that is truly admirable. We also want to thank the community employers who have provided opportunities to individuals with disabilities that have allowed them to demonstrate what valuable, dedicated employees they are.”
