Anyone needing community service hours or just wanting to lend a hand through hearty, physical, outdoor activity can join Park District staff for part or all of this three-hour weed and brush clearing. Each fall at Jasper-Pulaski Wildlife Area in western Indiana, sandhill cranes gather to refuel before continuing to their wintering grounds in the southern U.S. Bring your cameras, as there should be excellent opportunities to photograph these birds.
